Terms of Sale

Effective date: 21 September 2026

1. Supplier

These Terms of Sale apply to products supplied by Penta Trading Pty Ltd (ABN 59 696 813 984), Australia (“Penta Trading”, “we”, “us”). Contact: trade@pentabuilt.com or 0422 034 079.

2. Trade orders and acceptance

Access to trade pricing does not guarantee that every order can be accepted. An order is accepted when we issue an order confirmation or otherwise confirm acceptance in writing. We may contact you to confirm quantities, delivery access, product availability, technical requirements or project details before acceptance.

3. Prices and GST

Unless expressly stated otherwise, prices displayed on the store are in Australian dollars and include GST. Freight, local delivery, handling and any project-specific charges are shown at checkout or confirmed before the order is accepted. Tax invoices will identify Penta Trading Pty Ltd and its ABN.

4. Deposits and balance payments

Where a product is offered on a 50% deposit basis, 50% of the order value is charged at checkout. Unless a different schedule is clearly shown before payment, the remaining 50% becomes due when the goods are ready for fulfilment or dispatch. We may issue a payment request or process the balance in accordance with the payment schedule accepted at checkout. Goods will not be released until all amounts due have been paid.

5. Monthly order cycle and lead times

Orders are generally consolidated at the end of each calendar month. A new order cycle begins on the 1st, with estimated delivery approximately six weeks from the monthly cut-off. Countdown dates and lead times are estimates only until confirmed for the particular order. We will notify you of material delays that become known to us and work with you on a reasonable revised date or another remedy available under these Terms or applicable law.

6. Full-box tile sales and quantities

Tiles are sold in full boxes. Product pages state the nominal tile size, pieces per box and square metres per box where confirmed. Quantities are rounded to full boxes. The purchaser is responsible for checking site measurements, set-out, cutting allowance and waste. We generally recommend approximately 10% additional material, but complex patterns, rectification, site conditions or future repair requirements may require more.

7. Samples, colour and production batches

Images and samples are guides. Natural-looking products, tiles, stone-look finishes, timber-look products and coated metals can vary in colour, veining, texture, sheen and shade between samples, screens and production batches. Products for one continuous area should be ordered together where possible. Any material variation beyond the normal characteristics of the product remains subject to applicable legal rights.

8. Custom-made and special-order products

Custom-made, cut-to-size, specially finished and project-specific products are manufactured or procured to order. After written approval or production has commenced, changes or cancellations may not be possible. If cancellation is accepted, we may retain or recover reasonable, documented costs already incurred, to the extent permitted by law. This clause does not limit any right arising from defective, incorrectly supplied or misdescribed goods.

9. Delivery, inspection, title and risk

Delivery dates are estimates unless expressly confirmed in writing. The purchaser must provide safe and suitable delivery access and arrange unloading where agreed. Title to goods passes after full payment. Risk passes on delivery to the nominated address or collection by the purchaser or its carrier. Please inspect goods promptly and notify us as soon as reasonably practicable of visible freight damage, shortages or incorrect items, with photographs and order details where available. Prompt notice helps us investigate but does not remove rights that cannot legally be excluded.

10. Returns and cancellations

Change-of-mind returns are not automatically available for trade, special-order or custom-made goods. Before a consolidated supplier order is placed, we will consider a cancellation request and may deduct reasonable, documented costs already incurred where lawful. After the monthly cut-off or after production begins, cancellation may not be possible. Defective, unsafe, incorrectly supplied or misdescribed goods are handled in accordance with applicable law.

11. Product information, compliance and installation

Specifications, finishes, dimensions, ratings and certifications apply only to the exact model or SKU identified. TBC or “requires verification” means the information has not been confirmed and must not be treated as a compliance claim. Products requiring WaterMark, WELS, electrical, glazing, structural or other regulatory evidence must not be selected for regulated installation until the required documentation for the exact model has been confirmed. Installation must be performed by appropriately licensed trades and in accordance with the NCC, applicable Australian Standards, manufacturer instructions and local requirements.

12. Australian Consumer Law

Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or modifies any guarantee, right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded, including rights that may apply under the Australian Consumer Law. Businesses can in some circumstances acquire goods or services as consumers under that law.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia. The parties submit to the courts and tribunals with jurisdiction in Queensland, subject to any mandatory law that applies otherwise.
